Well not much to say here other than they work. I didn't like paying extra for "official" Rockford Fosgate covers, but the regular flat covers I tried touched the edge of the subwoofers when they shook, and they rattled badly. So make sure you use them to protect your P1s. There is a very simple visual installation guide on the box. All you need is an Allen key to remove the original rim cover. Insert the grate, put the lid and top on and slowly screw the lid back on. Make sure it is properly centered before tightening. $20 protection for a $65 subwoofer. Not very good, but if the subwoofers last, they're worth it. It's worth noting that you may not need them in certain circumstances, depending on where your subwoofers are installed or where they are oriented. For me they are in the van I use for DJing and I can't risk anything rolling in.
