Mouthpiece valve leaking but bladder cap not leaking

This is exactly what I was looking for. I walk about an hour every day and live in the desert, so I wanted to have enough water on my back to get by with a small bag but not a full backpack. It fits well, the flow is good when I sip, and I haven't had a leak in the lid like others have said. It seems that if you carefully put the cap on, everything works fine. I've had it for about a week or so and I've had a leak. From day one it flows through the mouthpiece valve where the gray plastic meets the blue. It's a slow but steady decline. The mouthpiece itself does not seem to leak regardless of valve position, but the valve pintle itself does leak. Other than that I really like this setup and will use it daily although I will have to replace the leaky part with a brand new pouch which sucks.
