Review on πŸŽ’ Top-rated MOUNTAINTOP Hiking Backpacks - Perfect for Outdoor Camping and Hiking Adventures by Jon Thawngzauk

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I was looking for a backpack with good waist straps because I needed to carry it around with me.

I was looking for a backpack with good waist straps as I had to carry around more textbooks and a laptop every day. I use an old Jansport backpack that has lasted about 10 years but my shoulders and back got too sore from my now heavier load. I've tried other "tactical" style backpacks because they look well built and have good waist straps, but none of them were as comfortable as this one. This backpack is much taller and slightly narrower than other backpacks I'm used to. It took me a while to get used to it and I had to change the way I organize my stuff. Also, it doesn't have small pockets to store pens etc. It only has 3 big compartments. The hip belt was my decisive criterion and it convinced me. The hip belt is easily adjustable and has pads that are long enough to provide good comfort but short enough not to restrict the hip belt's function. Because the bag is taller, the bag doesn't feel too low on my back, even with the hip straps actually resting on the top of my thigh bone. It also has these cool straps that sit on top of the shoulder straps and appear to change the position of the bag, making it more upright and really putting the load on the lower body rather than the shoulders. The only complaint I have is that the buckles and clasps feel a bit flimsy and flimsy. Also, I am very happy with this backpack and my 14lb daily load is no longer killing my shoulders and back!
