I have to admit it took hours to make. First off, the metal fender mounts with SS rod holes appeared to be made for a narrower fender - I spread them out a bit and aligned the lugs and they were fine. The instructions say to put the plastic sleeves on the rods before inserting them into the tabs - my rods were half an inch too long so I had to take everything apart and reassemble without the plastic sleeves to install the fitting properly, then I marked the poles for cutting; took everything apart, cut off the bolts and put everything back together. Expect to have to put them on and take them off a few times before you get fit. I'm taking off a star because good instructions would have saved me time and frustration BUT I can honestly say they look that good on the bike. I ordered a pair for my wife.
