These sticks were perfectly white with no shine. and I used seven sticks to get over 70 very large seals. BUT I put them in my hot glue gun, after the first three glues the glue melted all over the gun and clamped the pieces. So I had to cut open the chopsticks (almost no voids, as one reviewer noted) and use a spoon over the candle. Worked fine but slow process. I seem to have read a word about using a low temp gun, but now I caution against using a low temp gun. My cats are wonderful!
