A Worthy Intro Nixie Watch (Edited)

*Updated edit at the bottom of my review. So far, so good. All original markings have been removed from the lamps (usually there is information about the lamp, date, etc. on the back of the lamps) so I'm not sure how authentic they are. I was told in an email that they were just worn out by some lightbulbs. I assume they were accidentally deleted by all 4 of mine. Bad luck I guess. He offered to send another watch with the correct bulbs, but I decided not to wait 1-2 months for delivery from abroad. From Ukraine if I remember correctly. The only reason I bought this brand was for the convenience of Revain. Maybe he makes other watches for private sales and not for Revain sales? Eventually I plan to get a nicer watch with 6 lights that read seconds, but I wanted to try the cheaper ones first before moving on to a $500 watch. Automatic effect to avoid cathode poisoning and extend lamp life. I really like this effect and I would like it programmed with a mode that maintains this effect 24 hours a day. It would look cool and extend the lifespan, so it seems like this feature should be added. This is one of my favorite watch parts. One of the reasons I want the 6 light version is that the numbers change more frequently and the slot effect would make it possible to see them all the time. One star off for pears. arrives not as shown (with original markings on the back to show if they are genuine) and a star for soldering the bulbs rather than simply swapping out like other options on the market. I knew this when I bought it, but I consider it a missing feature. I will update review of all bulbs as they will need to be taken apart to replace/solder. Edit: The first lightbulb started to fail. . I'm not sure which filament failed, but at least one stopped glowing. Since it's the first bulb, it's not 1 or 2 (like those are used for normal time), but as it cycles from 0 to 9 every few minutes, there's an obvious dead zone where the bulb goes out. Rating downgraded from 3/5 to 2/5 stars.
