I was wary of buying this hat for my 2 year old as 1. he didn't want to wear hats, 2. the price of the hat is for a toddler who doesn't want to wear hats and 3. he has a smaller one Head BUT I liked it when I opened it and it took all summer to convince him that hats are cool and good and necessary to block the sunlight but it's the end of August and he wants it himself wear - win . The material is soft and of excellent quality, as you are used to from Under Armour.
