It works ! I use it for soldering iron tip temperature
This suits my work - soldering tip temperatures. I have a relatively low power Weller WP-25 (25W) rated for a maximum peak temperature of 400°C. I tested two of my tips and measured 395°C on one tip and 350°C on the other. So it does what I need. Stable readings at these temperatures are a bit slow to get - maybe 10-20 seconds - but I can live with that.
