95% of the time when I'm working on my computer at home, it's on a carpet or sofa. When I'm working on big projects, I hear that fans are having trouble cooling down on my XPS15. (Air vents on the bottom of the computer). I needed a very simple and easy way to lift it up instead of sticking a book or something in it as a spacer. This little item works perfectly. Inexpensive. Folds up for easy storage or to take with you. Seems strong enough to last a long time. The slight grip angle works and seems to hold the laptop well. I really like this item and would buy it again if needed.
