The hammock is decently made, very soft and fluffy, but my little rats ruined it pretty quickly. I would recommend not placing it next to a platform where they can chew the suspension straps. My only real negative point. And why I deducted 1 star is that the bottom piece is 2 pieces back to back and is only sewn on the edges so while it was inside one of my little troublemakers gnawed through one of the bottom pieces that was in Layers stuck in between, and struggled to free himself without help. If you have rodents that like to chew, I would recommend sewing the bottom 2 layers so that even if they chew on it, they can't climb in and get stuck.
