This iron heats up in about 30-45 seconds which is fine if you solder regularly and NEED A HOT IRON NOW. Unfortunately, the front of the handle acts as a heat sink, so leaving the iron on for a few minutes can be quite inconvenient. Accessories are a little sparse - a desoldering wick is a welcome accessory, but the small stand doesn't inspire confidence. The thin profile/handle (compared to a corrugated iron or cheap imitation) of an iron means that it slips right through a regular spool stand and puts the tip on the table. So it does its job, but for my money I could get a standard Sparkfun iron that heats up almost as quickly (about a minute) and has an insulated handle.
