Offers personal touch and variety

This lamp is very easy to install. It comes unassembled with the main pole and bases as one piece, the large rectangles as one piece, and the body and wire parts as a third piece. They are VERY easy to assemble. I've updated my headlights regularly for the past 10 years and this was the easiest I've installed to date. Here's why: (1) Decorative rectangles can be placed in any order. You can really customize the shape of this lamp! The nuts tighten well, but leave some slack so the rectangles are easy to straighten when the lamp is hanging from the ceiling. (2) The length of the wire is easily adjustable. It can be pulled through the holes in the ceiling box and adjusted to the desired length. (3) There is quite a bit of void space in the case that is flush with the ceiling to allow for extra cables to be held inside. I used to be in a situation where the wires had to be folded in half to get the chandelier to the right length. It's terrible when the wires are doubled on the outside. This particular lamp accommodates these wires which can be coiled up inside so the final look is a nice and slim single cord (1 on each side). (4) This lamp has 6 bulbs while other similar sized lamps usually have 4. This means that this lamp offers a lot of light! And there aren't that many shadows, although the rectangles go around the bulbs.
