A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

This review is about the new 2022 model, with a 10th generation processor. Good, solid, completely satisfied. I advise those who already have an iPad, as you can use it as a second monitor. Like this machine. After a certain time of use, I understood why the Cupertinos are switching to their processors - Intel does not fully open up, rarely encountered depressing bugs and slowdowns. I was lucky that it came even, all the legs are on the table, without distortion. If you are reading this and thinking whether to take it or not, then take it.

Pros
  • All that is written in the characteristics. For me the following were important: - weight, tired of carrying heavy cars; - power, many tasks requiring processor power (programming, modeling, not a lot of video processing) - eco-systems, hostage of Apple for a couple of years
Cons
  • Strongly strained that it is heated, although it costs 2 coolers. Evaluated by the touch of hands during work. Perhaps because of the case (solid aluminum) and it draws out some of the heat. It is especially noticeable under load and from the bottom side in the center, probably the processor is located there. I wrote to Apple support about this, they suggested resetting the SMC controller. And then I found the video "Resetting SMC and NVRAM" It got better.
