Operated by two latches which I broke in the trolley fridge vent. The reviews are correct, in the photo the form to be broken and inserted into the threaded part. I was concerned it didn't look the same but made sense when it arrived. Insert a screw into the hole and as you turn you will see the back expand (to hold the cover in place). Yes, it should be $1.99 for a 2 pack, they are in high demand in the market because nobody else is selling. It worked perfectly and the lid is now tight, I'm very happy about that!
