I bought a medium for my 5'4" teenage son, and they look a bit large to me but he loves them. Plus, room to grow! The waist fits fine, and they aren't baggy, just long. He wore them for 1/2 of our snorkel vacation, and they worked great. They also looked great. He wanted swim trunks with pineapples on them, Lands End was out of stock, and these fit the bill. Plus, they were far cheaper. Win!
