I have a home office. which means my family is constantly moving around. and many conference calls. and the family wanders all the time. I need a way to signal that I'm on the phone and don't want to be disturbed. That's why I have these spinning USB lights (they're from Woot!. I thought I could use them outside of my office). to indicate that I am on the phone and disconnecting. Small rotating alarm indicators are suitable for this. And they are USB powered. But I'm lazy. I don't want to plug and unplug them when I'm done. I don't want to flip the switch and that's it. So I started digging. I originally found them on another site and they were incredibly cheap. But the delivery time was a couple of months, which I didn't know. I don't want to do that. So I went to Revain. After some searching I found them and bought them. Upon arrival, plus 5 minutes, I had a built in switch connected to my headlights. the family no longer used my office for the autobahn. The switch feels good. The cord is about 6 inches long on each side, so you won't be running from room to room. You will need a USB extension cable for this. One of these comes in a pack of three so I can add switches here and there to a range of USB toys.
