Review on 🧴 Laouta Repair Balm for Face and Body by Lisa Monnier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

EZ use stick balm, helps dry, dehydrated skin without feeling greasy; Cardboard main tube.

I recently discovered these sticky balms and really didn't realize they were actually as useful and practical as they turned out to be. They're great to keep in my makeup bag for a quick hydrating makeover when needed when I'm not at home. My morning application of cream or lotion rarely lasts all day and is an easy way to keep skin smooth and hydrated. I like the idea of a cardboard tube and packaging much more than the reality. It's a pressure tube that doesn't retract - after use I have to gently press on a hard rod. I wonder how well the tube and balm itself will hold up when summer comes around. I live where the heat can get pretty intense and I wonder if the balm won't go too soft or even melt if I keep it in my purse or pocket on a hot day. But now I think it's great. I like to apply it to my forehead, cheeks and back of my hands; just a light stroke, and then I rub it in gently. It doesn't feel too heavy and my skin doesn't feel greasy. The current price of $15.99 seems reasonable as only a small amount is required for each application. At first I didn't think 1.7 ounces was a lot, but now I think it's about right. Any more and it will probably take me too long to use it.
