I was looking for a low monitor stand but most of them are at least 3" tall. This fits the bill and holds a 30-inch Apple Cinema display well that weighs around 27 pounds. The manufacturer didn't specify a maximum weight in the listing, but I was told it could support 44 pounds. I haven't adjusted the height, but one thing to worry about is keeping my feet straight. You adjust it by rotating the legs, so I'm not sure how you would get all the legs to be the same height. I haven't adjusted it though and it serves me well at base level. Very good value for money. It was very easy to assemble as you just had to screw on each leg.
