I ride a motorcycle and also have a bicycle. One for fun and thrill and the other for fun and health. Since I was training on a motorcycle, I wanted a bike helmet that would really protect my head in an accident. It seems that most bike helmets are made of air and sunlight. Doesn't help in an accident. The well-ventilated Base Camp helmet is durable, well-padded, yet lightweight. I think it will do what it was designed to do and do well. I also hope that I will never know. All my motorcycle helmets are white SO RIDERS CAN SEE ME. I made the same decision with base camp. Also, white reflects heat. I recommend this helmet for cycling but not for motorcycles.
