I bought these so I don't have to buy USB-C cables just for my phone when everything else is micro USB. I find the carabiner chain a bit awkward when trying to get on and off the cables, but that might just be because my arthritic hands aren't as dexterous as they used to be. However, I love that I can plug them into a micro USB cable and forget about them, saving me from playing tangled cords in all the places I charge my phone and keep it on my keychain for convenience. . -Case. So far I have not had any experience of my Galaxy Note 8 not being charged fast enough with these adapters. I have a red hot USB-C cable with a bad connection and it's causing this message, so I know my phone does, but not with these adapters. I like different colors because they are easy to spot. My only downside is that I ordered six and one of them was defective (the male shaft was too short so I can't get it to the female receptor). Otherwise it's a good deal.
