A few months ago I bought a pack of high speed charging cables for our Samsung 5, my phone recently died :( I ended up with a Samsung 9+ and cables that didn't fit the new phone. I I don't want to buy a new car charger and I found these adapters the cost of each was less than a new car charger and my husband and I can use our car chargers and all the old versions of cables if and when where we might need them. They really work very well! All my 4k to 10k power supplies have mini USB cables built in. I've attached one of these Type-C adapters to each cable and they work great without getting hot.
