This alarm is great, quick and easy to fit on my 150cc scooter (took me 5 minutes). The ALARM CLOCK is very loud (and I only use a 9 volt battery and don't connect it to my main 12 volt battery). The two remotes also work over long distances, I was at least 100 feet away and they come with their own batteries. So you only need to buy a 9 volt battery. Take my advice, buy 2 rechargeable ones so you can plug one in and charge one. I get about 2 weeks out of one and when it's low the system chirps me to let me know it's time to change the batteries. nice feature. The alarm will sound when the bike is moving, it won't start raining when it's off, but if you try to turn the handlebars or sit on them, it will sound and the alarm will be loud. NOTE: When installing the alarm and siren make sure you are where you want them as the adhesive backing will be applied My stupid roommates were making out trying to get on my scooter the other day (during the alarm was set) and as he threw his leg over the seat and sat down, the alarm went off and startled him so badly that he fell over the other side of the scooter and hit the concrete. ".I laughed, my girlfriend laughed, his girlfriend laughed (I didn't tell him I had an alarm on my scooter). DO NOT TOUCH ANYONE'S THINGS.
