When the boxer puppy's nylon collar started to smell a bit, I did a little research and found that real leather collars didn't have this problem. attached to it a picture of a pig, I went ahead and bought it. I figured my boxer "Karl" would grow a little taller than him, so I bought one that was too big and had to trim it down. This is very easy with a leather collar if you have a sharp utility knife and a leather punch to make the new hole. You can't even tell I cut it. After 2.5 years, the collar still fits perfectly around the neck of my very active female boxer!
