Several dogs have been fed grain free by Costco Kirkland for many years. This should be the same recipe as in normal wellness. Healthy puppies, shiny coats and no GI issues with Kirkland Adult Food. But our 2 year old Great Pyrenees seemed to throw up more than expected and wasn't eating her food as greedily as the other bitch. Eating with fewer ingredients seemed like a trial and error process. The Wellness Limited ingredient worked great. There is no more vomiting and she swallows it as soon as it is served to her. It's nearly twice the price of Kirkland, but what wouldn't we do to keep our pets healthy and comfortable? Our black lab is still loving and healthy on Kirklands poop. However, at a healthy 130lbs for her height, Rosie of the Pyrenees does a great job with this Wellness Limited ingredient. She has been eating it for almost 5 months now. I've gone for the salmon flavor for now - haven't tried lamb yet as I'm a vegetarian. But can change places depending on Rosie's health.
