This is an interesting design. I like that it can come apart to keep it dry and clean when not in use. That cuts down on mold issues considerably. The fabric is surprisingly rough, almost too rough. It would certainly exfoliate. I usually need a bath brush for my upper and middle back, which don't require much in the way of exfoliation.The length is fine, but the angle of the handle and head made it hard to have full contact with my back. Most of the time only part of the pad was touching me. I couldn't seem to get it just right so as to make full contact, didn't matter if I approached from top or bottom. The only place I felt full contact was my lower back, and I don't need a bath brush for that. I'm giving this brush 2.5 stars, rounded to 3. It's a good idea, but needs work.
