Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Car Audio Experience with KICKER 47KSC2704 KSC Series 2 3/4 Inch Midrange Speakers (Pair) by Radney Taala

Sounds good but Kicker needs more detailed instructions

The speakers appear to be a bargain but unfortunately they don't sound as good as I was expecting. The kicker instructions are crap. The speakers came with 3 sets of brackets which makes it easy to fit into my Toyota Tundra as no modifications are required. Insert the speaker into the brackets and screw tight. On the other hand, the connection instructions are useless. This kit comes with two capacitors with no word on how to connect them and if I even need them. I had to try with capacitors and without them. It turned out to sound a lot cleaner with this, but for some reason one speaker was cracking, so I checked all the wiring to make sure it wasn't loose, usually fine in this case, then I disconnected the capacitor solved by this dynamics problem. Now I only have one speaker with a condenser and the other one not, which seems to make them unbalanced where a speaker without a condenser sounds louder. I've been trying to figure this out for the last 4 days and I've given up. I need to cut my losses and find other speakers. I cannot return them as they are already in use.

Pros
  • Coaxial speakers
Cons
  • Not sure
