I needed a phono preamp so I could use my turntable without having to turn on the AVR every time I wanted to listen to a record. This preamp is exactly what I'm looking for and I know it will work great as everything I've bought from FOSI Audio has been top notch. The device is delivered well packaged so that it will not be damaged during delivery. All you need is a cable to connect the player and cables to connect to the amplifier. I connect it to a FOSI Tube-P1 which I then connect to a TDA7498E amp. All nice and small, easy to turn on and use. I love all my little gear. The sound coming from this device is great. It's as good as the sound my AVR produces. My records sound great and I have had no problems with the unit. I also use a 25ft RCA cable from the phono stage to my other preamp and don't notice any sound degradation. I bought cables from Revain and for so long thought I was definitely having audio issues. No, everything sounds great. If you are looking for a phono stage this is the one for you. This is an easy to use device. Remember that you need to connect it to an amplifier with speaker outputs.
