I first bought these nail brushes for their intended purpose - nail care. However as 4 came in a package I have used them for other purposes including cleaning. The bristles are quite hard and clean under the nails perfectly. Some might say the bristles are too hard, but I'm fine with that because I want germs and dirt to get rid of my nails. I recently used one of the brushes to clean the steel grate in my kitchen sink and the size was perfect for getting between the squares and removing any traces of food debris or mold trapped under the grate. The grip is strong and the colors are beautiful. There are a total of 4 pieces in the package. I think it's worth it.
