It's big, bigger than others and it's worth it. I have a 65L backpack and it takes up most of the space inside, but you can carry the backpack outside with a carry bag that you have to buy separately. I packed 8 meals at Berghaus, a few bags of tuna, a few breakfast items and a few bags of condiments (ketchup, mustard, S+P). Easily attaches to any package. I haven't touched anything, but I'm calm, I'll sing tomorrow morning! Nothing sucks like being in the outback, drinking beer and eating all your food for what it's worth. Some reviews complained about opening and closing? I've had no problems, a quarter works fine or a regular flat head screwdriver.
