I get bad TX audio all the time when using this mic. I had to return it but was too busy to do so within 30 days of Revain. I have extensive experience with electret microphones for a Fortune 500 company that manufactures telecommunications products. Whenever we had problems with the sound of the TX with an electret microphone, it was almost always because the rubber sleeve that was supposed to enclose the microphone body was no longer manufactured (assembly error) or there was some kind of chip on the body of the microphone. Of course. Enough, when I opened up this mic with a speaker, I found that the electret mic is soldered directly to the circuit board (no rubber "mat" between the circuit board and the mic) and that the mic body is housed in a plastic chamber inside the body located without a rubber sleeve between the microphone body and the plastic walls of the chamber. double whammy. Now I don't understand why the manufacturer rejected the rubber mat under the microphone and the rubber cover around the microphone. What would it cost? 3 cents? If you want good TX sound, I would recommend getting another speaker mic.
