This brush did not convince me. I have thick curly shoulder length hair. This brush didn't get through my hair wet or dry. (This might be fine for finer hair or baby hair.) I broke the bristles every time I used the brush so it wouldn't last as long if I kept using it. As other reviewers have noted, the pen is too small. I got around this by holding on to the top where the bristles are instead of a handle. Women with small hands can't do that; My hands are quite big and I could only grab the wider part.
