Top sound, performance and price!

I've always been a fan of Alpine products. The sound quality has always been excellent, and even years later it seems to rival newer technology being developed by competitors. If you are looking for great sound quality, Alpine has always been a good choice. The problem is that Alpine can be expensive. Well, this device surprised me. The sound quality is excellent, typical of a brand I've come to love and enjoy. What convinces me is the performance for the price. For the first time in my life I have a bluetooth stereo in my car and I'm so spoiled I can't go back! Pairing was quick and easy, and now I don't even have to take out my phone. I hop in the truck and drive off, it recognizes my iPhone and automatically plays what I was listening to last, even when Spotify is closed. No more auxiliary cable! Generator no longer whistles! I can charge my phone while playing music without interference, which is truly a gift to appreciate. Thank goodness for Bluetooth! At this price it's too good to be true. When I get my truck back on the road, the same will happen in this car. For those of you who don't have Bluetooth or don't like the idea of autoplay (I'm sure there's a setting you can change, but I like it so I haven't looked around), it comes with an aux supplied and USB input, and there is an option to buy satellite radio and use it as a receiver. There are also plenty of inputs and outputs on the back for those with more advanced setups involving amps and subwoofers. For those of you who like to customize things, you can choose the color of the display and text. Another really great feature is dimming, so you're not blinded by your main unit's backlight late at night. I highly recommend this unit for your car, I am very happy with mine so far!

Pros
  • Expandability: Compatible with SiriusXM satellite radio, Inputs: Front USB port, Front AUX-in, Outputs: 6-channel pre-outs (4 volts front, rear, subwoofer).
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
