I use it for a marching band microphone in a football stadium. I used to only use the microphone on board the camcorder. The wind and the noise of the crowd were unacceptable. I switched to these little guys running through my cell and wirelessly entering the press box through the cinegear's ghost eye. The change in sound quality was incredible. I placed them on low mic stands in front of the band and the wind noise almost disappeared. Victory is good. The sound quality has improved a lot and the noise of the crowd in the background has completely disappeared. If you're on a budget you can get a matching kit from Shure, Sennheiser, Rhode or whatever, but for people looking for that gear, budget will be the driving force. You get value for money if you don't expect high dollar performance. I'm very glad I found these mics and would recommend them to anyone who needs a pair of quality condenser mics for under $100. The microphones come with 3 different capsules, foam windscreen and microphone stand holders. The case is also very good, even if the foam cuts are a bit questionable. Items get out of place when handled roughly.
