This product should be called a 'Quick Cleaner' because that's exactly what it does. This is a convenient way to wipe light dust off the paintwork without having to wash your car. The keyword here is "light dust". This will not work on moderately or heavily dusty painted surfaces. For moderately dusty vehicles, use a product labeled "Waterless Car Wash" as it has more lube in its formula. Very dusty cars need a full wash. Of all the methods of cleaning a car body, the "spray" method is the weakest and should be reserved for cars that are mostly clean and require little dust. This product is an atomizer. The product works great. Tree pollen wipes off easily and the formula contains enough lubricant to avoid scratching the clear coat. Leaves a glossy sheen on smooth surfaces. But it doesn't fill scratches like wax paste. This is mainly intended for touch-up work. You will get a lot of pollen if you live in an area where there are a lot of pine trees. This product is ideal for quickly removing such fine particles. Just don't let too much pollen build up before removing it. If the deposits are heavy, e.g. B. if your car looks yellowish, you need to spray the car with water. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? A few reasons. There are at least two competing atomizers, both excellent. I am referring to Meguiar's Turtle Wax Ice Wax Spray Detailer and Ultimate Spray Detailer. Both products have excellent water repellency and give the same shine as Chemical Guys Speed Wipe. Turtle wax is cheaper. You get more for your money. I'm not one to tie all product reviews to a water absorption test. After all, it's just a measure of how water-resistant a product is. The biggest threat to your paint isn't water, it's the sun's ultraviolet rays. And there is simply no way for the average consumer to test the ability of these products to block UV rays. So we all mimic the water bead tests we see on youtube. This at least tells you how durable the product is. Turtlewax and Meguiars seem to be more durable. This means they remain on the paintwork longer, even after exposure to the sun. You keep dripping water even if you leave your car outside in the sun. All three tools are easy to use. If there's one thing Chemcal Guys products deserve credit for, it's that they love washing cars. Detail lovers take a boring but necessary job and create products that make it interesting. They use pleasant scents that make car washing a pleasure. And the cherry flavor in this formula does just that. You can't beat the Chemical Guys when it comes to making car washing fun. And maybe the fact that they have a Youtube channel that gives free advice offsets the higher prices of their products. You have to judge for yourself.
