Easy repair of a hard-to-reach part
If your armrest is sagging or breaking like mine, this is an ingenious invention to solve that problem. Attach the plate, drill 4 holes, insert rivets, done. Every time I lay my hand on the rest of my S10 I wonder why that metal plate wasn't OEM. A bit pricey but worth it.
