
It's great. Just a few hours after delivery, I went to the store to get some onions and try them with a very simple recipe. I cut off part of the top and part of the bottom. made a small hole in the top (and ate the onion I hollowed out). I placed the onion firmly in the oven, making sure it pressed down on the protruding "punch". I put some fake oil in the hollowed out hole (and above). Since my microwave is small and has lower wattage, I blew it for six minutes instead of the recommended 4-5 minutes. The second day I did it for seven minutes and it was amazing too. I left it much longer than recommended, 2 minutes after it was done. (It was still very hot when I removed it from the microwave five minutes after it was cooked, so prep the pods.) It was delicious. I will experiment with longer times and experiment with seasoning before cooking. I'm wondering what seasonings give it that onion blossom flavor without needing to be fried? I highly recommend this product. (But be careful not to burn your fingers. It's hot after cooking, so let it sit for a while.
