2015 jeep wrangler. I thought the old speakers were ok, but I've been thinking about buying them for a while based on other reviews. I just swapped out the top speakers and tested the new ones against the old ones with a fader in the back and then did a "balance" for comparison - I threw my old speakers in the trash after installing them and am buying another set for them the fronts that are not child's play to readjust. compared to simply replacing on a crossbar. The other reviewers were right about the weight difference, the old ones seem to be able to float away in comparison to them - couldn't believe these were speakers I liked before - like I said - smashed 2 perfectly good speakers today and you can also very soon. For people complaining that their Jeep Wrangler's factory amps and subwoofers aren't compatible with them or aren't improving, the answer is very obvious as they don't have "regular radios" that are 90% used. Also, these Jeeps have a super expensive and luxurious "Alpine Radio" otherwise they wouldn't have amps or factory subwoofers. They already have a system that is superior to us, but for the rest of us - this rock!
