Review on 🕰️ Fossil Gen 4 Venture HR Women's Stainless Steel Touchscreen Smartwatch with Heart Rate, GPS, NFC, and Smartphone Notifications by Chantel Cooper

Nice watch! I waited to write this review until I fully experienced the Fossil Gen 4. It is an absolutely beautiful watch. I chose rose gold with the original soft leather strap. The rose gold looks more like traditional gold and the leather strap is quite comfortable and soft. However, after putting it on for the first time, I noticed that the belt looked very dirty (see picture). I tried wiping it down with a damp cloth and found the dirt to be some sort of stain or abrasion of a thin layer of material, which is very disappointing. I highly recommend getting a different strap if you're buying a 4th Gen Fossil with a leather strap. Otherwise I really liked the watch. It fits pretty well. I don't have very thin wrists and I still feel comfortable. I'm not used to wearing watches so it took me about two weeks to get used to wearing something on my wrist. I expected to use them a lot more in my work. I'm a behavioral therapist working with children but have found I rarely use it. Notifications are quick and easy. The disadvantage of notification text 4 is that if the same single text is in a row, the watch only shows me the second notification, not the first. Although there will be a numeric value indicating there is other text. Not visible from the clock. I was surprised that I couldn't receive calls from the watch if I didn't have Bluetooth headphones connected. Trying to answer a call while plugging in your headphones takes a lot more power than just grabbing your phone. Another disappointment would be that I prefer to use the Verizon Message Plus app, which the Fossil Generation 4 watch doesn't support. I went back to the original Samsung text app and it works great. I really like the heart rate tracking and activity tracking. That's the only reason I considered sending this watch back and trying others. For exercise and activity tracking, this price point was really fantastic and on par with other physical activity trackers.
