Review on πŸ”₯ Bluetooth BBQ Meat Thermometer with 6 Probe Port for Smoker Grilling – Digital Oven Thermometer with Carrying Case Included by Dana Franklin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thermometer for smoking meat.

This Bluetooth remote thermometer was exactly what I was looking for. I had several different wireless thermometers but I needed one that connected to my phone as I carry it with me all the time. I used it for the first time yesterday and put a full chest on my night smoker. I put one probe in the meat and one in the barrel with the clip provided. Two temporary files immediately appeared on my phone. I went into the app and created my own preset that allowed me to specify a temperature range so if the fire in the smoker got too hot or too cold (170-375) I would be warned and fix it. A full size brisket is a big investment and my smoker had trouble with the fire going out. I wanted to go to bed knowing that if there was a problem I would be woken up and able to fix it instead of waking up in the morning to find the fire had gone out a few hours ago and my kitchen time would be increasing. In fact, at around 4:15 a.m., the app warned me with sound and vibration that the temperature in the smoker had dropped below 170 degrees. I jumped out of bed and saw that the fire had gone out. I quickly re-ignited the fire and brought the smoker back up to temperature. Long story short, I got my brisket ready in time for my son's birthday party and it got rave reviews. I buy a ton from Amazon but never leave a review. I had such good experiences with this thermometer that I felt compelled to give a review.
