I bought these for my mother because she is a fanatic about leveling measuring spoons when she bakes. Personally, I'm more of an "I look and take risks" girl. They generally work well, but sometimes the effort required to squeeze the two ends together to align them is enough to allow the contents out of the Shovel pops out, which can be frustrating. If you think you cannot live without this product, then order it. If not, I would pass. You've probably done without self-leveling measuring spoons in the past and will probably do without them in the future.
