I decided my vents were too flexible and my phone was blocking too much air, my windshield was too far out to be easily reached. The adhesive mount has sculpted reliefs that follow the smooth curves of the strokes perfectly. Now I find other places (on the side of a filing cabinet, an equipment shelf) where it is convenient to use other fasteners. I wish I could buy the popsocket holder side separately or choose other phone interfaces like magnet, metal plate, spring grip with ball socket.
