Best Small Hand Chopper

This was a replacement for my my Kitchen Plus 2000 which I had for many years. As others have said the bowl is plastic and finally cracked after years of constant use. It looks the same, they've changed the name and they've added an egg separator as well as a little lid that keeps the liquid from running out of the spout. I hope this cover works because it was a complaint I had with another. However, when it cracked I immediately started looking for a replacement - I've used the old one so many times! The blades are not serrated like the others but I know they are even sharper so be careful, very careful with the blades. Never leave them in the sink, just rinse them off and let them dry. I cut myself on the old one out of my own carelessness. The best way to learn is to learn from other people's experiences, so don't leave your paddles in the water and walk away! Although honestly I haven't used any other tools. Will try them now after seeing them and remembering I had almost the same tools with my other set. However, I used the chopper almost every day. This is a great kitchen tool! Makes the fastest and best salsa, coleslaw and chopped veggies as I can make them as small or as big as I want with just the turn of a knob depending on how much I want. As others have mentioned and it even says this in the recipe book, it's a good idea not to overload the bowl and turn the handle in the opposite direction to start it just a half turn or so.
