This backpack got almost 3 stars and almost 5 stars. I don't know how I feel about this after a couple of 8 mile hikes and a couple of runs. I'm 5ft 9in, 155lbs and this backpack still can't adjust properly. I didn't actually get a rotating clip to attach the water nozzle to, but the company got it right so I won't bother with that. In fact, the support team was a pleasure to deal with and they responded very quickly. Cons: The backpack sits too low on the back (touches the buttocks); which is not suitable for running or long hikes. If you want the chest straps to be on your chest and not under your chest (or rib cage), the pack will touch the top of your buttocks. Look at my photos and you will see where the straps sit on my front. This backpack would have gotten better marks if the top strap was removable and adjustable this way. As for the cons, that's all. The backpack isn't great for long runs, but not bad for short runs of less than a few miles. So I would give it 3 stars for the run. This backpack gets 4 to 5 stars for hiking but becomes uncomfortable after 5 or 6 miles on steep terrain. "Plus: Nice, compact backpack for a few snacks and a light rain cover. .Insulated water bladder pocket keeps water in for hours on warm days and cold for hours on cool days (assuming you add ice). The perfect amount of pockets and zippers to organize your small gear such as flashlights, keys, pocket knives, snacks, phones, headphones, etc. This backpack got wet for a long time when it snowed on my last hike, but it's small enough to fit under a raincoat to keep everything dry if needed. I love the look and material of this backpack; it doesn't feel cheap in any way. The castles are very well established. The included patch is amazing. In general, it depends on how extreme a runner/tourist you are. You can also ride motorcycles off-road as it works great. If you don't fancy a crazy day trip then this is probably for you. I will continue to use this for my less extreme adventures, but not for anything over 10 miles.
