I regularly buy glass bottles and I know they don't last forever. But of all the bottles I've bought, these barely last a fraction of the time most people need them to. After a few weeks, the tops started to smell and get moldy. I'm a carpenter, so I know better than to leave the wood, I cast. I washed them and dried them immediately. But they're covered in cheap polyester varnish, and the bamboo is dyed to allow water to seep under the coating and allow bacteria to multiply. It quickly smells like dirty feet and imagine drinking while touching that with your mouth! Don't buy them with wooden lids unless you know they have a natural finish (like a cutting board) otherwise you'll be buying them again in a few weeks.
