I bought this mount because I couldn't find another monitor stand with enough clearance to mount a 40" 4k Monitor (actually TV) to mount. Keep in mind that the monitor I have weighs only 25 pounds despite its bulk. You should make sure your weight doesn't exceed the limit when attempting to carry something this large on this mount. others are rated best because you can change the monitor's horizontal position and vertical orientation, but changing the height is really a two-person project. The advantage is that the mount is quite stable. My monitor has a bit of play, but that's to be expected. Another nice benefit of this mount is that the actual mounting system is pretty smart. Instead of mounting your monitor on a full arm and having someone help you mount it to your desk, you can clip your hand to the table, attach the mount to the monitor, and then just slide it into place. I managed to do it without any help, despite the weight or the monitor. (Note that you'll need a VESA adapter plate if you're using a TV as a monitor.) The biggest downside is that the angle adjustment is a little trickier, and tilting the monitor to a vertical plane annoys me a bit.
