Terrible Chemical Fishy Smell

I returned it the same day I opened it. This gauze looked amazing until I opened the plastic. It had an awful fishy sea chemical smell that hit me in the face like a brick. It's good quality so I tried washing it twice using proper gauze methods. It still smells like the sea is a little dead and it doesn't even come close to my food. I didn't even bother to untie the cord.

Pros

AFFORDABLE: With 5 square feet of cheesecloth and 220 feet of cooking twine, you get the most bang for your buck. Considering that any material can be reused, our packaging will surely accompany you for some time.
