I have 2 of these in the furthest away rooms. It pulls in cool air throughout the day, so it doesn't need AC power for a while. I got them because I didn't want to put a fan in the attic for the whole house. It was a simple setup. I have vertical ones, so 2 screws at the top and 2 at the bottom. Insert it, slide it closer to the wall and it snaps into place. Plug it in and voila, you have a powerful exhaust fan that can suck even at night. Love it Update: Bought another one for a third bedroom. 3 of these at altitude can create a fairly comfortable breeze and consume only 270 watts. All 3 are on the same side of the house so I just open the windows on the opposite side of the house and we get an instant draft throughout the house. Update: March 2018 So less than a year and all 3 are making noise. It looks like the bearings ejected some of the bullets. It sounds like they eat themselves when the fans are on. The one in the master bedroom is the worst. Change it to 2 stars based on durability.
