Icicles can roll onto the roof
Icicle lights are well made and look cool - almost blue - especially towards my neighbors who are hanging white C9 bulbs. My house needed 6 sets of lights. The sparkle effect looks nice, but despite their massive size and not particularly windy weather, a few icicles fell onto the roof. I hired someone to hang them as my stairs didn't go that high. I had to use a telescopic pole with a hanger on the end to fold it back. But so far they work fine!
