I'm sure it's a good board but it doesn't work with my i9-10850K

I ordered this board with high hopes. Other components were pretty solid: an 850W power adapter, 32GB of 32MHz DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an Intel i9-10850 processor. When building such a system, it should just work. However, it suffered from random BSODs, freezes and resets. First I replaced the motherboard with a new MSI, then the RAM, then the SSD, then in a pinch the PSU, which is the least likely risk of failure. Then I came across a post from a guy who was having the same issue with the same processor and mobile device. He said he returned the MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX and got it from another manufacturer and never regretted it. I did the same and now the system is stable. Now I have Asus Prime Z490-A. The other guy I mentioned went with a high end Azus motherboard. I'm sure this MSI motherboard is a good motherboard and has really good features for the price. But it seems to have a subtle incompatibility with the Intel i9-10850K. It probably works fine with other processors, but I can't vouch for that. I do not recommend it for this processor.

Pros
  • is clear even from the old
Cons
