Review on 🚲 Strider Sport Balance Bike - Ages 3 to 7 Years - Pedal Conversion Kit available separately by Mark Jefferson

My son started riding the original Strider balance bike at age 2 and recently (now 4 years old) asked if he could have a balance bike like his older brother. I didn't feel like it was fully pedal bike ready, but did some research to see what options we had. Found this newly released Strider 14x and thought why not stick with Strider, they have proven to be knowledgeable and trustworthy. It turned out to be the perfect transition. We started pedaling straight away and it wasn't until the second try that he was on his own. Start, stop and spin all by yourself. This is the video of that moment. It works perfectly for us. The only negative I could think of is that the weight of the bike is quite heavy compared to the previous one which was only 6.7 pounds. My son doesn't seem to have a problem with the weight when riding, so it's not a problem for us. However, this can be a problem for smaller riders or in the event of a fall. Anyway, we love it!
